My Project

As a speech therapist, I spend a lot of time working on reading and listening comprehension skills. My students have been really interesting in silly curious george and all of his silly adventures. These stories help my students learn new vocabulary, answer different "wh" questions, and have some fun with silly george adventures. I plan to read these stories to all of my students working on language skills as george is a fan favorite.

My students are from south Philadelphia, many being immigrants from different countries.

My speech students are so sweet and have been working so hard towards their IEP goals. I would love to reward them with stories containing their favorite character!
