My Project

My name is David Ruffner, and I am an Early Learning Support (ELS) Autism teacher in Washington, DC. I am reaching out to request your support in providing essential resources for our classroom, resources that are crucial in supporting and fostering the development of children with autism.

As you know, children with autism often require specialized tools and materials to thrive in a learning environment.

The items we are requesting will not only help meet their unique sensory and learning needs but will also stimulate their curiosity, encourage engagement, and foster creativity. These resources will allow us to create an enriching and supportive space where students can explore new concepts and ideas, helping them develop the skills they need to succeed.

In an ELS classroom, students with autism benefit from targeted interventions that are tailored to their specific needs. With the right tools, we can support their communication, social-emotional growth, and sensory regulation. Every donation will have a direct impact on our students, helping them feel understood, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
