My Students

My students deserve equitable access to technology, an array of texts, and meaningful cultural experiences to represent their diversity. They are eager to learn and ready to share their cultural identities with the world. Let's work together for student equity!

My Project

Providing my students with access to culturally relevant texts will encourage them to explore their identities and cultural backgrounds.

Researching and connecting their lives to characters in diverse books is an exciting and engaging way to share stories and traditions that are celebrated at home and can be represented in the classroom.

My students come from an array of countries and they should feel empowered to share their holidays and traditions when they are exposed to texts that touch upon their history and background.

Let's represent our culture and traditions.
