Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My Dual Language Kindergarten class is made of children from many different cultural backgrounds. It is important for me to provide each students with a way to represent their culture and to write about what their culture means to them. I am very interested in creating a mask using my own class as the models to create their masks. Next, I will assist the students to look at the colors of their country or if available mask form their countries to base the color scheme on.

Completing this mask making project would be so meaning to my students.

It would help to validate who they are and where they are from. Gracias!
