My Project

At our Title I school, many of our 5th-grade students come from diverse backgrounds, yet opportunities to explore and connect with different cultures are limited. By introducing LEGO sets that reflect cultural celebrations like the Lunar New Year or future places around the world, such as iconic locations in Japan or China, we can provide our students with an engaging and hands-on way to learn about the world around them. These LEGO sets will encourage creativity and critical thinking as students build representations of important cultural landmarks and traditions. They will also help them understand the significance of these cultures in a meaningful and tangible way, fostering respect and appreciation for diversity.

These LEGO sets will serve as an inspiring tool in our classroom to create a deeper understanding of the world’s cultural richness and its potential future developments.

Our students will gain the opportunity to explore themes of innovation, global connections, and the diversity of human experience. With these sets, they will not only enhance their problem-solving skills and teamwork but also develop an early understanding of global citizenship and cultural awareness. This project will inspire them to dream big, imagine the future, and take pride in learning about the vast and diverse world we all share.
