My Project

I'm an itinerant theater teacher who teaches all over the district to many varying types of students which means I see over 700 kids in a week. I want to bring my elementary students the most engaging and creative theater experience to help open them up to the creative freedom and expression that theater can bring.

My students are all incredibly creative and bright and I want to give them multiple ways to express their creativity in my classroom.

The spot markers & scarves are to help my younger theater students (Pre-K) connect with my material in a tactile way. The crayons, paper, and pencils are for my students to be able to draw and sketch out their ideas for theatrical elements (lighting, costume designs, sets, etc) along with script writing. The LEGO sets are to help with our creativity in set designs and designing worlds for characters to live in.

I have a varied differing amount of learners in my class and I want to make sure that I am servicing my students in the way they deserve to learn.
