My Project

The Magical Yet, The Impulsive Ninja, Grow Happy, and Butterflies on the First Day will support social-emotional learning through literature integrated with hands-on experiences.

Butterflies on the First Day addresses the "butterflies" that students face when starting a new grade.

The butterfly pavilion will be used to recreate the journey students go through throughout the year.

The Magical Yet will cultivate a learning environment that thrives on the power of "YET." A magical experience will be used to teach students how to cope with the difficult learning moments we all face when trying something new... like how to make cotton candy!

Grow Happy will reveal to students the impact that they have on their own happiness and learning. Students will discover they have the resources they need (seeds, soil, water, and pots) to nurture their own plant (happiness.)
