This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I hope this message finds you in good spirits. My name is Ms. Galvez, and I am reaching out to you on behalf of my first-grade classroom. I am deeply committed to providing my students with a stimulating and orderly learning environment, where they can thrive academically and develop essential life skills.

I have created tis DonorsChoose project with a threefold purpose: to keep our classroom organized, clean, and equipped with flexible seating options.

Our young learners thrive in a well-maintained, clutter-free space, which is conducive to focused learning and creativity. Your support will make a significant difference in enhancing the educational experience for my students in the following ways:

Organizational supplies including shelving units, storage bins, and classroom organizers will ensure that our learning materials, books, and supplies are neatly arranged and easily accessible. An organized classroom promotes a sense of order and responsibility among the students, allowing them to take ownership of their learning space.

Cleaning supplies will help us maintain a clean and hygienic classroom is crucial for the well-being of my students. Your contribution will enable us to purchase cleaning supplies such as a broom. With your help, we can create a healthy environment where our students can learn and play without worries.

Stools for flexible seating options will offer flexible seating, to foster a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere in the classroom. Students can choose seating that suits their learning style, promoting engagement and active participation in lessons. Flexible seating has been proven to increase focus, improve posture, and enhance overall classroom productivity.
