This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love the enthusiasm and creatively my students bring to the kitchen everyday. They are eager to learn, explore new recipes and flavors, and continuously develop their culinary skills. Although we work with outdated and broken equipment, they continue to show an incredible amount of resilience, while always making the best of what we have in any situation. Nevertheless less, our current range is hindering their ability to fully engage in the hands-on learning that they truly deserve.

By providing a new and functional cooking range, we can transform their learning experience into something spectacular.
