My Project

During Covid, many experienced decreased academic, social, and emotional growth. Many of my students and the students in my school no longer have the social skills to be successful in a larger population like the lunch room. This is especially true with many of my autistic and special education students. This year, I have been allowing student to cube before school, at lunch, and in their down time in class. I am amazed at the connections students are making with other students. I am seeing improved self esteem, increased levels of patience, and critical thinking.
