My Students

The students in my fourth grade class are curious individuals who learn best with the use of differently modalities and instruments.

We incorporate computers and technologies into our classroom daily to reach every student at their level.

Together we are learning about each other and our strengths and weaknesses as learners. Each student is happy to be able to help each other and give feedback to their peers , so that all learners can soar. This program is good for my English Language Learners, as well as my advanced students because it reaches each student on his or her level.

The use of the technology will be incorporated daily in all subject areas throughout the day. My English Language Learner Students and Students with Disabilities will have access to text that they can read.

The Motto of my school is that every child can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way. With that being said, it is my mission to reach all learners and having these programs will be another tool to help all children learn to express themselves so they are college and career ready.

My Project

All of our students are smart, curious boys and girls that have the ability to change the world given the chance. According to research, over 90% of parents would like their children to study Computer Science. However, the reality is that only 35% high schools teach Computer Science in New York. I ask... how are we preparing our children for the future if we are teaching from the past? Please support my students and give them the chance they deserve. A chance that is, to make a difference.

The materials such as LEGOs, chairs, and robots will give these students the opportunity to explore and code during the day.
