My Project

Having students read classic novels is a great way for them to realize that our world has not changed as much as they think. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley is an amazing classic novel that teaches the ethics and how small mistakes can have large impacts. My goal in teaching Frankenstein is to allow students the opportunity to read a novel that they would never choose on their own and learn how to appreciate the works of a woman in the early 1800s.

What makes my students special is their willingness to learn and discuss the ways of the world.

They find value in learning and they appreciate a good novel.
