My Project

Many of my students know how to play or have even heard of these classic board games like Checkers, Sequence, Monopoly, and card games.

Classic board and card games promote critical thinking and teach students about teamwork, patience, and how to win and lose gracefully.

The games that I am requesting will allow the students to learn invaluable skills. First, they teach students about following rules and directions, problem-solving, and decision-making. Second, they encourage students to communicate with their peers clearly. Third, they are a great tool to teach patience and fair play. Games also provide some students with a way to boost their confidence; they encourage speaking up in a controlled and safe environment.

Unexpected and hilarious moments that happen during gameplay will hopefully remain a treasured memory for the students.
