Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are ELL learners and live in a low-income neighborhood. As several schools nationwide we had to make the decision to learn remotely the previous school year. However it did not discourage students from learning, and instead, my students work harder than before. Now we are approaching a new school year in September with more changes to come. My students are looking forward to returning to school.

My Project

This year many of our students had to transition to remote learning. We were not fully prepared for what remote learning would require and many students were at a disadvantage. This upcoming year I would like to ensure that all my students have the materials necessary to continue their education during blended learning. Many of our families are struggling to make ends meet. This project will allow less fortunate children to obtain all necessary school supplies and sanitizing supplies to ensure our children remain safe and healthy. This project will ensure a successful academic year.
