My Project

I will have a new group of eager, fun-loving eight year olds headed my way this August. I would like to be able to bring them all together on the carpet to listen to stories, participate in morning meeting, SEL lessons and work in small groups,

I want to have enough space to seat the entire class criss, cross, applesauce, or smaller groups of students to stretch out and work or read in a comfy spot.

I was without a carpet for the last few months of the last school year due to an accedent that caused me to have to get rid of it. My students and I missed the carpet and the sense of community it created as a central gathering spot within our classroom.
