My Project

Sixth graders should sit on the ground too! A classroom rug can make a significant difference in student achievement for several reasons.

A classroom rug can play a crucial role in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that fosters student achievement by promoting comfort, collaboration, organization, and community-building.

Specifically, I want an area to sit with my students and hold my small groups. I love being at the same level as them during Social Emotional Learning time. It would also provide a cozy spot for them to read next to the classroom library. All classroom should have a classroom rug!
