My Students

My students are curious and lively. My fourth-grade classroom is a place of discovery. I am constantly seeking ways to engage and challenge my group of gifted learners. My goal is to prepare my students to think critically and solve problems. Many of the students in our school receive free lunch due to their socioeconomic status. This lack of resources can limit the experiences students have. I hope to provide engaging materials to broaden their outlook on life and their future. Science is everywhere in the world around us, and I hope to provide opportunities to incorporate STEM into our classroom in order to prepare my students for their future careers.

My Project

We spend the majority of the day in our classroom. Most of the items that made our classroom inviting had to be taken out due to Covid-19. We can't use our bean bag chairs. Small groups are gone. Shared supplies are a thing of the past.

Cricut Joy will give us the encouragement to feel at home at school again!

By adding personalization to the classroom that doesn't spread germs, students will feel connected to learning even while socially distanced. Even 3 feet apart, they will know their teacher cares about them.
