My Project

When I assumed the role of Family and Consumer Science teacher, I discovered a Cricut machine that had been unused due to a lack of knowledge among the students. Having experience with a Cricut machine at home, I saw this as a wonderful opportunity to introduce my students to its capabilities. Since then, they have eagerly engaged in learning the basics, and I am thrilled to report significant progress.

My Child Care students are tasked with creating a new bulletin board each month based on a theme chosen by the class.

Their growing proficiency with the Cricut machine has made this project a highlight, often resulting in a line of students eager to use it. Additionally, members of the Home Ec Club have utilized the machine for various projects, making it an essential tool in our curriculum.

Unfortunately, we recently encountered a setback. While preparing to create snowflakes for our Christmas door decorating contest, the Cricut machine failed to turn on. This has left both the students and myself quite devastated.

We are asking for help in replacing out Cricut machine along with a few basic but necessary materials.
