My Project

Our pre-K students are endlessly curious, brimming with energy, and always ready to dive into new adventures. What I love most about them is their natural wonder and excitement when exploring the world around them. They are at an age where everything is fascinating, from the tiniest ant marching across the sidewalk to the fluttering wings of a butterfly, and their curiosity is truly contagious.

To help nurture their love for learning and exploration, I’m requesting a microscope, real insects in resin, art supplies and teacher teaching materials.

These resources will allow our young learners to see, touch, and learn about the incredible world of insects in an engaging, hands-on way. For instance, students will observe real insects, use scientific tools such as a microscope and bug catching nets, as well as art tools to record their findings.

The goal of this project is to spark curiosity, develop early scientific skills, and create a classroom environment that promotes inquiry-based learning. By integrating these resources into our lessons, we hope to help students improve their observational skills, critical thinking, and understanding of nature's role in our world. We also aim to inspire a sense of wonder and respect for all living creatures.
