Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year our school puts on a literacy parade in October. We pick a class book and create costumes to match and walk around the school. It's amazing to see students from pre-K through fifth grade dressed up as their favorite book. This creepy book collection, The Creepy Pair of Underwear, The Creepy Crayon, and Creepy Carrots have been favorites for my second grade students over the years. I would love to be able to give each of my students their very own copy of these books to take home at the end of the literacy parade.
