My Students

My students wake up eager and ready to learn every day! My students range from TK-4th and share the same love of Art as I do! Their passion drives me every day to push them to be amazing artists!

Many of our students come from low-income backgrounds and live in a community where arts funding is extremely limited, especially during this time when our community is just trying to make distance learning a possibility.

We are a Title I school limiting art supplies and resources to amplify their desire to learn and create.

My Project

There's something magical about watercolor painting. Something about watching the colors collide on their papers makes budding artists enter a calm and creative mindset -- something that our students need more desperately than ever. It combines a colorful outlet for self-expression with therapeutic mindfulness techniques.

This project will give students the opportunity to express themselves creatively during their time learning at home.

Our students are our future. The students at our elementary school are wonderfully creative and have so much to offer to our community. With your generous donation, you will help to give students a fun and relaxing outlet to express their voice through the arts!
