My Students

My students are all English language learners who have recently immigrated to the U.S. or have parents who have immigrated. They are fiercely proud of their multilingualism even though they sometimes struggle with academic English and they are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions. Each student in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment they learn best vary greatly and they need access to various texts that will capture their interest and prepare them. They enjoy being around friends and working collaboratively with each other, regardless of the challenges that they face in their daily lives.

My Project

Cricuts are very versatile machines with a lot of potentials. But this project is for requesting the materials which can be used as we can cut paper, vinyl, or fabric in any shape

The possibilities are endless with this machine.

With the help of these materials, my students will be given the option to be more creative with their work. They will be able to design in ways that they have never been able to do before.

I am requesting a Cricut EasyPress Mini along with other Vinyl sheets so that I can use it with my Cricut maker to create projects for my students. Such as hall passes, labels, personalized vocabulary cards, or banners. While the Cricut Maker can be used to create multiple materials. The Cricut press can be used to iron on the creative projects that are designed for the students.
