Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This high school embroidery class introduces students to the art of embroidery and offers students a timeless skill they can carry with them for life—whether as a hobby, an artistic pursuit, or even a business.

In a world where creativity is often overlooked, this course provides a space for students to discover hidden talents, express themselves, and develop a craft they can perfect over time.

They will learn essential embroidery techniques and apply them to upcycle their own clothing, blending creativity with sustainability. By exploring embroidery, they will gain not only technical skills but also confidence in their ability to create something truly unique.
