Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. Students come to the rug with whiteboards for guided practice and to record modeled strategies. Needless to say, we go through a lot of markers. My students also use a STEM bin when they finish their work. The fidget toys and doodle magnetic board are great items to use for a brain break.

By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.

Students will be able to work on earning working with LEGOs. This will motivate them to focus and work on the task at hand. LEGOs make learning fun and hands-on, which can increase student engagement and motivation. My students are 6 and 7-year-olds they are learning how to work with one another. Working with LEGOs in groups can encourage teamwork, communication, and collaboration among students.
