Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a creative and diverse group with incredible potential, but many find it hard to stay engaged in traditional classroom activities. I want to encourage their creativity and promote mental wellness by introducing hands-on projects where they can design personalized tote bags with motivational and mental health messages. These projects will not only give them an outlet for self-expression but also teach them practical skills in design, event planning, and teamwork.

The items I’m requesting—tote bags, heat presses, and heat transfer paper—will enable my students to produce their own customized creations.

These projects will enhance their learning experience by making the lessons more engaging and relevant to their lives. My goal is to inspire students to be more invested in their education and mental well-being, fostering an environment where they feel encouraged to express themselves. With your support, I can provide my students with the resources they need to thrive.
