Creativity + 3D Printers = Competent Builders of Tomorrow

Help me give my students a 3D printer classroom bundle set along with the supplies to help them become successful engineers and turn their imaginations into reality!

My Project

The items I'm requesting for my students I already have plans for! These 3D printers will not only help my third-grade class but will be utilized with the Robotics Team I host. I have high school students who visit our school's Robotics Team to help them with engineering and prepare students for real-life applications. These students range from 3rd to 5th graders.

These items will help students create models to provide hands-on experience in various subjects, understand typical workflows, motivate creativity, gain practical skills, and understand 3D structures.

With the 3D printers you provide the student's learning becomes interactive and active. Robotic students can design prototypes for their robots. Students can create objects for geometry and area, design dioramas for science and art, ect... the possibilities are only limited by our imagination. All of the items give us a great start for our students to start building for a better tomorrow.

After completing research on 3D printers and uses in the classroom and conferencing with colleagues I believe implementing a maker space with these items will help students see themselves as true engineers and problem solvers. The classroom bundle includes two printers letting the students print multiple projects at once. Furthermore, the tools will help students process their creations and the cart can store the items safely when not in use. In this technology literate world, interaction with technology will increase their desire to learn and use the new technology! We will use these materials to aid us in the process of becoming life-long learners. We need your support to make this dream a reality!
