My Project

I am opening up a UTK (preschool) classroom at my school this coming year. I’m hoping to get a few art supplies and a light table to encourage creative expression and exploration!

Self-expression through art helps children with language acquisition as they label their art and create stories.

They develop creative styles that are as individual as their fingerprints. They are also developing fine motor skills that will lead to pencil grip. Art and getting messy is very important in preschool because we encourage creativity! So I am requesting smocks, textured paint brushes, modeling clay, letter stamps, and a light table. I am also requesting a light table to add to my science and math exploration center.

Everyday my students will be learning and making new things all thanks to donors like you.
