My Students

My Kindergarten students are so excited and ready to learn and grow their brains! I teach in a 30 student ICT classroom. Many of my students have never been in school before due to the pandemic. Although this is a new and exciting for them, it can also be challenging without the proper materials needed to ensure that my students are receiving the best education they deserve.

My students are strong little people with big hearts and big smiles!

Many of them have been dealt a hard hand. Despite the challenges of coming from low-income households, living in temporary housing, and not knowing when their next meal is going to come, they are always ready and excited to learn. Their love for learning is awesome and motivating to all they come across.

My Project

The pandemic has been hard on everyone, but especially our young learners. My students are not always able to express themselves verbally. The Cricut Maker will give my students opportunities to create wonderful projects to express how they are feeling.

My students love working with their hands and creating unique items.

I try my best to provide many outlets throughout the day for self reflection and self expression. I have discovered that when given the chance to express themselves in various ways, they truly put their best foot forward when it comes to owning their earning.
