Help me give my students the chance to create sculpture. We don't have access to traditional clay, so I need to get creative. Saw this technique at the national art teacher convention, would love to let them try

My Project
Without the ability to teach my students traditional clay sculpture, this is the next best thing. The wire and foil will allow them to go as large with their pieces as they want. The type of clay-based paper mache I've requested will give them the same freedom of movement and texture as clay. When it hardens it is paintable. Once dry I will spray it with a clear coat if they wish for it to shine. These simple materials are the best way to allow my students access to the same types of lessons that they would get if they were at a school who have a traditional ceramic class. With these items' my students can truly tap into their creative side.
