My Project

Becoming a Pre-K teacher was one of the best decision I have ever made. My Pre-K students are loveable, fun, energetic and always ready to take on any challenge to shape their minds for a bright future. I believe children grow and develop through the different developmental milestones through Erick Erikson theories. I strongly believe children should have the opportunity to learn outside of a classroom to give a broader perspective of the natural world. Learning outside the box.

Being able to be creative outside of a classroom, and still provide opportunities for my students to learn and grow developmentally through the different milestone, could be enhanced by the materials needed.

Enjoying a nice walk using drawing boards to find sight words to write as they explore the environment . For example, different traffic signs, and names of buildings. Helping children to build fine and gross motor skills. Pretending to be in a parade, playing flute instruments while using the microphones to sing along with the birds . This experiment help children become aware of cause and effects, learning about sounds, sensory development and building vocabulary and language skills. Exploring sequences by giving specific directions, and just to have some relaxation time would benefit from the bubble wands. Allow that time for children to develop those visual skills. Sitting outside with our cool shades on as the breeze helps the bubbles float in the air. Simply exploring learning all around.
