My Project

My first graders enjoy role playing with characters but we do not have multi-cultural wooden dolls. Please help me bring these wooden dolls into our rotation of materials to build oral language and creativity.

These multi-cultural wooden dolls represent the beautiful students in my classroom.

Students will practice social language and vocabulary while playing “house” with these dolls. In addition they will have an opportunity to use the furniture to create rooms.

I am also asking for linking chains to work on math and literacy skills during centers. We will use the chains to create color patterns, link phonics cards together and count groups of 10.
