Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my class, there is no such thing as one chair fits all. Each of my students is unique and has different strengths to contribute to the classroom environment. Some students thrive sitting in a standard desk chair, but that does not apply to everyone.

Your donation will help me stock my classroom with a variety of seating options for my students, empowering them to have choices during independent work time.

Countless classrooms have seen the benefits of flexible seating in student achievement. Students not only feel comfortable and at home in their classroom when given options for completing tasks, but also feel engaged and able to focus on their work. My students with special needs would particularly benefit from the opportunity to move around while they work, ensuring they can get their wiggles out while focusing on completing classwork.
