Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have 18 amazing students who is a mix of general and special education and ELL. They all come from low- income community but that doesn't stop them from learning and creating different project. Requesting a cricut machine, will bring life and beauty into their classroom. Decorating the bulletins boards will bring fun and interesting way to incorporate learning.
Displaying their pictures with words it will make visual learning easier for bilinguals students as well as the non- verbal.
I see other teachers decorating their rooms with the cricut machine. I think to myself I want to provide the same thing for my students. This will make the monthly theme come to life. EX . Restaurant theme, the student mind can pick and go wild decorating the centers. Giving them the option to be creative . I can't wait to see what they come up with. I provide them learning experience by using pictures and vocabulary words, in a colorful 3D experience. I want to make the classroom an environment that children want to learn in. It's all about a welcoming place that children can walk in and say WOW. With this cricut machine I can make that place for them
