My Project

My students are considered ESOL, ELD, and English III. My students often have disabilities that require specialty book selections and special projects as well as other special needs and therefore require an adapted method of learning.

In education, project-based learning is a near and dear for me as a teacher.

I look at students who perhaps will not participate, but when they use the materials for a project-based learning assignment in our class, they do so with more enthusiasm.

With the funding for these materials, my students will complete a rather large and difficult unit on Poetry and have the chance to turn their poetry into a usable tote bag. I would hope for them to use this as well as many other potential projects and think of our amazing experience in Literature class!

We learn by doing and my students are doing much thanks to your generosity.
