The students in my Kindergarten classroom are a creative, hard-working, curious, thoughtful, and adventurous group of children. Always eager to learn the moment they enter the classroom as they look to the daily agenda to see what the day will be and then...we are off and learning with days filled with exploration, invention, reading, creative expression, practice, and thoughtfulness. I am looking to make their learning experience even more engaging by adding learning tools for the classroom through Donors Choose Donations.

My Project

These interactive storybook houses directly match books in our reading curriculum and will be used as a re-telling tool, as well as creative inspiration at our classroom writers workshop! Students will be able to practice new vocabulary and use sentence starters as they use the houses to re-tell the story and write about the story. Engagement is the key to storytelling and writing in Kindergarten and these gorgeous storybook houses will help step up the fun and engagement with interactive learning!

Please help me bring the "garden" back to Kindergarten, and inspire meaningful writing, with these beautiful and engaging storybook houses.
