My Project

The materials that I am requesting will allow students with all abilities the opportunity to express themselves in using their creativity and to express themselves in making simple to complex designs with sewing and crocheting. We can learn simple crocheting and sewing stitches. They will then be able to make simple to complex projects. When students learn the basics they will be able to brainstorm crocheting and sewing projects.

My students love fashion and love expressing themselves with clothing of various styles.

The majority of my students would like to own a business one day in the fashion industry and they need a club that will provide them an outlet to express themselves.

Having the requested material will be the beginning of a new journey for students who crave the opportunity to build on skills that have not yet been expressed or exposed to. The requested material will promote lifelong skills, be a great stress reliever, help debunk gender stereotypes, grow confidence, build patience and perseverance and problem solving skills.

Students in school crave an outlet that will allow them to express who they are as individuals. Why not give them what they need by providing them the materials that will one day change their lives?
