My Project

Our first graders constantly learn and engage in fun and memorable hands-on activities. Every month we learn about a Spotlight Artist during a famous art period. We learn about the history of that period and the artist's biography. After learning about the artist, we recreate their famous masterpieces. We need materials to help the first graders make these masterpieces. Our first graders enjoy being creative and displaying artwork in the classrooms and hallways. They love to be creative Artists in first grade.

Every month, we often paint, color, and use various art materials to explore an artist each month. We are in need of construction paper, cardstock paper, watercolor paper, paper plates, and paintbrushes to create these masterpieces.
