Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My third graders are very creative and simply love art. They enjoy water color painting. They have created some amazing abstract paintings using different size shapes. They enjoy outdoor activities such as jumping rope and racing each other. My students are ready to learn every morning.

My Project

These art supplies that I am requesting will be used throughout the year. Each year, we as a school, hire a art teacher, but each class only gets 10 sessions and after that no art due to lack of art supplies. I would like to continue providing my students with the art lessons. I have noticed that students enjoy art. They use their creativity to design, invent, and at times dream of places that come alive through their art. I would like to continue to the art lessons.

Students will use these materials to create art pieces they will enjoy and share with their peers through a classroom art gallery.
