Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students attend a Title I school where they all qualify to receive free lunch. I want to provide my students the opportunity to develop their creativity through the use of technology by working together to design a variety of things. Students will use this technology by using an iPad to create designs, a Cricut machine, and a heat press to create projects.

Help me implement the engineering design process and get my students to think like engineers by focusing on the engineering habits of mind through designing and creating.

Students will have the opportunity to collaborate and communicate while designing a variety of things that they can use to make their 5th-grade experience a memorable one!
