My Students

I am a bilingual classroom teacher. My unique and enthusiastic bilingual students are in the inner city, Title-I school. My students are thriving learners that are eager to obtain English as their new language. They are determined to learn how to read and write in English and become proficient problem solvers. Remote/distance learning is a new process. My class is affected by this Covid-19 pandemic in many ways. First, they are not in a regular classroom setting where they can learn about a topic by using many visuals and hands on approaches. Another challenge is communicating in their second language. They have a good work ethic and are ready to be challenged.

My Project

This project will increase the visual and hands-on approach learning about topics while I instruct and facilitate them through Google Meet and Zoom. With your help, my students will have more supporting supplies to continue their education through remote learning.

With your generous donation of card stock papers, erasers, and Folding Stadium seats will help my bilingual students to sit comfortably in front of the computer and draw pictures about a topic and make vocabulary cards that they can use repeated in their writing.

Using card stock paper,pencil, markers and erasers, I will be able to effectively instruct students successfully with a rich curriculum. Students will be engaged and participate in hands-on remote learning instruction.
