Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

In today's economic state, many students come to school without having had breakfast, wearing clothes that are dirty from lack of being washed, and without the basic school supplies they need. I am asking for your help to get them some art supplies to allow them to get more creative with their work!

My students are a diverse group of kids in a Title one school.

They are all 6th graders with creative minds and active imaginations. They love when I assign projects or assignments that take them away from the normal textbook and worksheet routine and allows them to get creative. They thoroughly enjoy making posters and presentations for each other about the topics they research and they love to use the computer lab for inspiration and printing.

My Project

I am asking for a donation of art supplies to be used for my students to be able to create posters, scrapbooks, booklets, and reports. These supplies include markers, poster boards, drawing paper, colored pencils, among other materials that can be used to creatively expand future lessons.

A donation toward the purchase of these supplies will allow them to show their creative sides and have more fun learning about the various topics ahead!
