Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is designed to get students having fun and interacting with one another in creative ways. This will be a great way to reward students who have been working hard and making good choices all year. There are three projects, one for each grade level (6-8). My 6th graders can create the tissue paper sun catchers, 7th graders can create dream catchers and 8th graders will be able to create the crystal sun catchers.

All of the projects allow creativity and student-student interaction.

These projects will be a fun end-of-the-year reward with the bonus of students taking home their beautiful creations when they are done. I cannot wait to work with these craft groups in the media center. They will be fun for the students but also a great way for me to further connect with the students!
