Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With funding for after school programs at an all time low, my school has created an amazing alternative-clubs that meet last period every Thursday. These clubs allow for teachers to teach something they are passionate about to students from all different classes across the upper grades.

Next month, I will be starting a crafting club and I can't wait to bring the joy of creativity to my students!

The materials in this project will allow me to spark a passion in a group of young minds. Crafting is something that can be an outlet for them, allowing them to channel negative energy and emotions into something positive. The supplies in this project will allow me to take my club to the next level and hopefully create life long crafters!
