My Students

My students are mostly from Guyana and India. Some children are English Language learners and don't speak English but are eager to learn. All of my students love coming to school. They love to read and write and are thrilled with learning new strategies to help them read and write.

They are very enthusiastic learners and always walk into the classroom in the morning with huge smiles on their faces.

Every child in my class can't wait for a new day!

My Project

My students love to see my creativity at work. When I model my writing pieces, I have nowhere to display them. Without an easel, I have to write on the chart paper on a table, instead of showing the children step by step. By using the chart stand, I can take advantage of using big books so all of my students can see what is being shown in the story.

A chart stand/easel will greatly benefit my English Language Learners and all of my students!

Providing the easel to my class would help them in interactive and shared writing.
