Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students walk into our classroom every day full of life, ready to learn, and excited for what is in store for them that day. I want them to know I believe in them and they can do anything.

My school is a Dual Immersion school that serves students in grades K-5 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment.

As a result, we are consistently one of the high performing schools in the district each year .

My Project

My students need games and activities that focus on teamwork and sharing during Learning Center time. My students will use the slot builders, jumbo bricks, magna tiles and bristle builders to explore their ability to work collaboratively with classmates in building creative structures. They will be able to use these building manipulatives during our whole group and small group time. Your generous donation to our project will improve my Kindergarten classroom by building stronger sense of community within the classroom. This will change our student's lives for the better because they will love school and will learn to work collaboratively with their classmates in fun and exciting way.
