This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have been privileged with being the newest creative art teacher. I am really honored to support our community with students to have a safe space to create while connecting to the other subjects that they learn during the school day. We are a smaller school and we do need help making sure all of the students have art supplies for entire school year. We need canvases, brushes, and sensory materials. Giving my students the necessary tools to express themselves in many different ways, especially to make sure students that learn differently , allows them to have access to content/ learning concepts.
