My Project

These items will allow us to have a sensory area in our classroom to add to your station rotation. The creative board will give our engineering and STEM station an upgrade and allow us to utilize the materials we have as well as encourage STEM thinking. The yoga mats will be greatly enjoyed and allow us to learn about personal space and boundaries. We do yoga every day and it is one of the most exciting parts of our day. They truly look forward to getting their bodies up and stretching!

The goal for this project is to give my students new opportunities to expand their knowledge and create life long learners who truly enjoy exploring the world!

My students are special and would greatly benefit from having these new explorations in our classroom because they come to school daily, ready to show up as the best version of themselves that they can. They work hard and deserve to play even harder. Through this grant, I would be able to give them new opportunities they would not usually have access too. I will also be able to use the resources in all the future years that I plan to teach!
