Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are being exposed this year to talent periods. These are periods that allow students exposure to various types of talents that they may not get throughout the year. This can include different types of art, music, financial literacy and etc. This semester I have a full class of artists that want to explore 2-dimensional art. This is the first year since the pandemic that the talent period is offered and the students are excited.

The materials that you will provide will help these artist take their skills to a different level.

Many students' parents are struggling with buying supplies and me as well. I have provided some supplies but it is limiting students' progress and work. Each one of them deserves a chance to express themselves at their own pace instead of waiting for other students to finish with their work.

I love this opportunity for students, I wish to provide them with all the materials they will need to go further with their creations. Art education is important in schools because art is an excellent source of self-expression. It helps students develop problem-solving skills and encourages them to think outside the box. These skills will help students excel in all subjects and encourages them to work collaboratively. I hope you can help provide these students with the materials they need.
