Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in an impoverished area of South Los Angeles. All of my students come from low-income families. We are a Title I school where ninety-nine percent of our students receive free meals. My students always try their best at everything and anything, despite the challenges that they face in their daily lives.

They are already not expected to have it as easy as others, but we learn that with hard work and consistency, they can be "unique" or different from the rest.

My students are so eager to learn, that it makes coming to work easy!

My Project

I am requesting a Cricut Maker, accessories, and Cricut EasyPress Mini to create projects and crafts for my fourth-grade students.

The Cricut Maker can be used to create anchor charts for all the subjects, bulletin boards, learning centers, labeling materials, cut-outs, and personalized items.

Many different assignments can be created with the Cricut to meet each student's individualized needs. The Cricut is going to be helpful for our ongoing scrapbook project. I also would like to make end-of-the-year gifts for my fourth-grade students with the Cricut Maker. I would love to be able to give them personalized items.

I am also requesting the Cricut press to make shirts for my third graders. I believe the Cricut is a classroom essential that my students need.
