My Project

Fourth grade is such an incredible year of growth for students.

I teach a wonderful group of fourth graders who are curious about the world around them.

They collaborate on projects, enjoy STEAM challenges, and love to discover the why behind questions posed in class.

I am requesting three class sets of bare books. We will use these books as a way to save our work and create a keepsake for our 4th grade year. With a bare book, the sky is the limit for my students. My students are so creative that these books will give them a place to use their imaginations and document their work in both Social Studies, Writing, and Reading.

We can extend this project into our math curriculum. We can apply our financial literacy skill by doing a cost analysis on the books to determine which book is a "better deal" by factoring in the price and size. We will determine which book we feel is a better value.

I am excited to get these books into the hands of my students. Thank you for your support!
